Tragedy in New Zealand
In light of the recent tragedy at two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand, we wish to remind students that Counseling and Mental Health Services (CAMHS) clinicians are available for support if you are experiencing distress in response to these events. You can access CAMHS by calling (617) 495-2042 during business hours and (617) 495-5711 during nights and weekends.
Workshops & Groups
Join other Harvard students to provide support and validation, or if you are curious about yourself and want to improve something in your life.
We are a counseling and mental health support service which seeks to work collaboratively with students and the university to support individuals who are experiencing some measure of distress in their lives.
Our goals are to:
- Respond quickly and in proportion to the student’s or administrator’s expressed need
- Assess the factors contributing to a student’s or administrator’s concerns
- Collaborate with the student to create and implement a plan that allows for increased perspective, growth and a return to a level of functioning most likely to promote success at Harvard
